What Causes Nausea And Metallic Taste In Mouth With History Of Cardiomyopathy?

Hi, my mom is suffering from a very week heart with no known triggers. They have run test after test including a heart biopsy with no significant findings. This is her 2nd hospitalization and in both cases, she is vomiting constantly and complains of a bad metallic taste in her mouth. Just wondering if you can think of anything that might be causing her cardiomyopathy. Does the nausea and bad taste in her mouth a symptom that may have been overlooked??? She also has asthma that has also progressively gotten worse over the past two years. Is it her asthma that s really getting worse (she is now on multiple puffers) or has it been her heart along that is mimicking the breathing difficulties?
