Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Nausea And Pressure In Vagina After Taking Mobistat?
Went to the doctor yesterday, they said I had a yeast infection, took some pill that started with a f and told me to use Mobistat 7 also.....I feel nauseated and really no better...no pain. Just feel terrible and like there is pressure down there.will this get better or do I need to go back to the doctor
The most common side effect with Monistat is more vaginal burning, itching or irritation after use. I would suggest you to take an anti-histamine like Cetirizine or Loratidine in order to reduce the itching and allowing the anti-fungal drug to start acting. In case of symptoms not subsiding with the drug, bacterial infections like bacterial vaginosis should be suspected. A vaginal smear can be taken to identify the cause.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
