Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hello. I have been nauseous and experiencing stomach cramps for 4 days, and nothing has helped. i feel shaky and cold as well, but that s just today. I have stopped eating beef and pork, but I m taking multivitamins to make up for the missing nutrients. should i go to the hospital, or should i wait it out because its caused by my diet change?
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to eat light and take antacid after every meal. You should take small and frequent meals. Consult gastroenterologist once for proper diagnosis. Doctor may order stool test, ultrasound and endoscopy to confirm the diagnosis. Doctor may prescribe omeprazole , laxative , H 2 blockers along with analgesic.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
