What Causes Nausea And Stomach Discomfort After Meals?
Hi, I am 81 yrs old and in the past couple of weeks have had a feeling of nausea after some of my meals and a general feeling of slight discomfort in my stomach. COULD THIS BE A SIGN OF ULCERS? if IT CONTINUES I WILL SEE MY Dr. I live where meals are supplie d and are balanced
Welcome to HCM. Yes this could be a sign of ulcers and also potentially a sign of atherosclerosis, basically your arteries that supply your stomach with blood are narrowed and thus when you eat there is not enough blood supply to help with digestion and therefore you get "fatigue" or angina of the bowels and you get this sensation of fullness and bloating. Talk to your doctor about it. I hope this helps.
