What Causes Nausea And Sweating Upon Putting Pressure On The Navel?

I cant have anything on my stomach right on the belly button. Pants panties if I do I get clammy pale sweaty I feel like I have to throw up pass gas or have a bowel movement. It doesn t go away until I pass gas throw up or go to the bathroom. I have fainted twice when this happens just a quick pass out like 2 seconds. Sometimes if I feel it coming I have to pull my clothing under my belly and it gives some relief

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, it seems like vasovagal syncope and may need to be reviewed by a neurologist. Meanwhile avoid putting pressure on belly button or whatever can trigger such syncope. Baseline neurological examination and basic cardiac work up like EKG may need to be done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
