What Causes Nausea, Diarrhea And Itchy Bumps Post Cortisone Injection?

Had cortisone shot in shoulder about a month ago. One week after shot I experienced nausea, diarrhea, light-headed,and overall not feeling well. It seems to have gotten worse as time goes on - still nauseous with headache, some ringing in ears. Have a few itchy bumps. Could this be from the shot and how long will it take to get over this. It was Kenalog. My head feels very heavy and woozy. thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

welcome to healthcare magic,

if u can give the reason for what purpose you had a cortisone injection would be better to , let you know , what caused you to have such nausea and other symptoms .

The symptoms what all u had mentioned can be eased out with symptomatic treatment. And, make sure of not to have the same cortisone injection again, which can make you experience the same effects.

good health.
