Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Nausea, Exhaustion And Paleness After Exercising?
If I exercise semi-strenuously, I become pale, extremely exhausted and have severe nausea. Also, eating a moderate amount of food causes me to be very full. If I exercise just a little, I become sick at my stomach. A few years ago, I had a cardiac calcium score of 0. I have been tested for ulcers, gastroparesis, acid reflux and have had an endoscopy and everything was normal. I have also had my gall bladder removed. Nothing has seemed to help my symptoms.
Most probably heart failure or decreased functioning of heart is responsible for exercise intolerance. I would suggest ECG, 2D echocardiography, chest X-ray and treadmill stress test. Please do consult a physician and take the above tests to know the specific diagnosis and for appropriate treatment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
