What Causes Nausea Followed By Vomiting And Dry Heaving?
About every 2 to 3 months I get very nauseous 5 -8 times a day - it s very quick. The nausea is over in 30 seconds but sometime it causes me to vomit or dry heave - but not always. It may last one or two days, other times it can go on for a week. Wondering what is causing this 30 second nausea spell!!

There are many causes for nausea, most commonly gastritis, iron tablets or other medications consumption or anemia or brain or neurological problems etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
Please check your hemoglobin and thyroid status, check for electrolyte and hormonal status. Kindly consult your physician, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
