What Causes Nausea, Headache And Soreness In Mouth After A Root Canal?

Is it normal to be sick after a root canal procedure? I left the dentist at 9pm on Thursday. Friday I felt nauseous all day, headache and mouth was sore. Around 2 pain was worse and I was throwing up around 6-12. Today I feel nauseous again with headache but not as much mouth pain.

Thanks for your concern..

As per your complain, it seems that any of the medicines which you are taking after your root canal treatment is not suiting you and can be the commonest reason for your nausea and headache...

Soreness of mouth can be due to some of the irrigating solutions used during root canal procedures but will be fine with time...

You should see your dentist again and get your medicines specially antibiotics changed and hopefully your problem will get solved...
