Nausea post intake of seafood meal is commonly due to
food allergy or food
poisoning. Other symptoms are nausea, vomiting,
abdominal pain,
diarrhea, headache, muscle aches and minor nervous system symptoms like numbness of the skin. It is good that you made yourself vomit. Avoid taking dairy products and solid food for a couple of days till your symptoms reduce. Take antacids and PPIs to reduce
acid reflux and abdominal discomfort.
Take plenty of water to flush the toxins out of the body. Take plain water, ORS, electrol, soups, juice, crackers, toasts and semi solid food like custard, oats meal, porridge, etc., to maintain the body electrolyte system. You can take antihistamines at bed time to ease relieve. The symptoms will go with time. In case you experience serious side effects then you can visit ER, you may need a stomach wash and further management and medical aid.
