What Causes Nausea, Vomiting, Cramps And Bleeding While On BP Medication?
Hi my name is ann Nicholas, I have High blood pressure. I am taking Benicar since about 10 years. I recently since about two years being suffering with nausea and vomiting severe cramps bleeding. Hospitalized so many times. Suffer from IBS , I feel like I am dying.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history Of taking Benicar for 10 years for hypertension. Suffer from nausea, vomiting, cramps and bleeding for the last 2 years and was diagnosed as IBS. Well, with the gap of 8 years, Benicar is not the reason for your abdominal symptoms. I would advise you the following: Send stool tests for three consecutive days. Tests of blood and urine. Colonoscopy and biopsy if suspected area is present. CT scan of abdomen. If there is any positive finding, get treated accordingly. If all these reports are normal , get treated as IBS that is irritable bowel syndrome.
