What Causes Nausea While On Viberzi?
Recently started taking Vibersi 75mg X2/day. Approximately 3 1/2 weeks. For about a week I have started having unexplained nausea. Several times a day. No vomiting. This is the only recent change in meds or lifestyle changes. What a joke this is. Pay to get answer. You damn sure better not start emailing me a Lot of unsolicited crap! I will report this site!!!!!

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Viberzi is used to treat abdominal pain and diarrhea due to its effect on slowing down your bowel. It can though also cause nausea and vomiting as an adverse effect.
If you are having nausea without vomiting, please try to eat frequent small amount of food during the day. Instead of having 3 big meals try to have 5 small ones so the stomach is not overloaded but is not empty for long time and the acids hurt your stomach. You can also try to take omeprazole to help reduce the acids in the stomach. Avoiding alcohol, acid and spicy food and junk food but taking fruit and vegetable and eating healthy might be of great help as well. Smoking might worsen stomach symptoms so quitting smoking is advisable.
If you are not improving with these measures or if any worse you will need to see your doctor.
