What Causes Nausea,vomiting And Chills?

I woke up last night after feeling fine all day to being extremely cold and not able to warm up the temperature was 70. After trying to wrap myself in blankets still freezing I had difficulty breathing. Then the nausea began I got up and threw up thick vomit I had to spit it out. Then I needed to have a bowel movement. After throwing on about 3 layers of additional clothing and socks and slippers I was able to sleep after about an hour. I woke up still cold and nauceous, just not as severe as last night. Should I go to the er or trust that it will get better in time.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Welcome to Health care magic

I went through your history provided to us. It seems you are having nausea, vomiting cold and chills. These symptoms indicate acute infection. The treatment is by the use of antibiotics for treatment of infection. Along with this symptomatic treatment is required for nausea and vomiting by the use of anti-emetic drugs. Chills require use of antipyretic drugs.
Since the infection seems to be acute and severe you need to consult your doctor for examination and treatment.

Thank you for writing to us.
