General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Though MRI is good to confirm the diagnosis. However, sometimes the case is very straightforward and do not need any imaging (as is yours). So I would suggest you should go with physiotherapy, you can always get an MRI if it didn't work.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
