What Causes Neck Pain, Pressure In Ear And Tingling Sensation In Jaw?
Doctor I have neck pain along with ear pressure and tingling jaw. If the ear pressure comes on strong, I get a bit dizzy. I did see my ENT doctor this morning and he saw nothing wrong with my ears. Seems like everything bothers me more in the morning. But it does come and go throughout the day
Understanding your concern. As per your query your symptoms such as neck pain , pain in ear and tingling pressure in jaw could be due to tooth infection which is not finding its way to escape and leading to facial space infection. I would suggest you to visit dentist once and get it examined. Get intraoperstive periapical radiograph done and find out level of infection. Start root canal treatment of particular tooth. Maintain oral hygiene by brushing and flossing twice daily. Rinse with antiseptic mouthwash such as listerine mouth wash. Another possible reason is the lymph nodes behind the ear may be inflamed due to infection of the gums or oral cavity. Get it evaluated properly and start treatment accordingly. Take combination of painkiller and cortisone injection. Start with physiotherapy as well.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
