What Causes Neck Pain Radiating To Center Of The Back?
My name is Alberto and I am 44 years old. I am taking Diovan 80mg for blood pressure. For the past 8 days I have experienced a lot of pain to the right side of my neck leading towards the center back area meeting my brain stem. It increases if lay down to rest or go to sleep. What could this be?

The commonest cause of this type of pain is a pinched nerve in the neck. Please get an MRI scan of cervical spine done to confirm the diagnosis.
