The symptoms like palpitations, tiredness, uneasiness etc can occur due to anxiety which can occur due to a number of reasons. Association of neck swelling raise suspicion of some thyroid abnormality. Hyperthyroidism is known to cause similar symptoms and should be ruled out. So I d advise you to get a thyroid hormone status done to rule out the condition. Once the thyroid levels come normal then most likely cause of such symptoms is anxiety. Medicines like Beta Blockers as Propranolol, Atenolol can be used for relief of symptoms of anxiety and these are also found to be useful in hyperthyroidism.
