What Causes Negative CT Scan Results While Having Painful Swelling In The Abdomen?

My serum amylase was 164, I am diagnosed with pancreatistis but in the CT scan no infection or inflammation was seen on pancreas. I had pain from last 17 days and the pain was unbearable so I smoked a weed joint 45 min prior to my ct scan-whole abdominal.Is weed the reason that nothing came up in the CT scan?

- Error in CT scan reporting .
- Actual absence of swelling at the time of CT scan .

* Weed is not the reason for the same .
