What Causes Night Sweats After Gall Bladder Surgery?
I had open gallbaldder surgery 3 weeks ago, followed by ERCP to fix a leak, 2 weeks ago. Since the operation I have had night sweats which was never a problem for me before even during menopause. Is this something to be concerned about? I did go under general anesthetic for 3 hours the first operation and 1 hour the second.
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. Your symptoms should be evaluated since it may be related to your previous surgery in terms of forming abscess or intraabdominal infection, So you need to do basic lab test and ultrasond to see if something is going on in abdomen or there is retained stone in biliary ducts. This may need another procedure or antibiotic terapy. Other causes may not be related to surgery but this should be ruled out first.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
