What Causes Night Sweats And Extreme Fatigue?

I have had urgency, frequency, night sweats, what seems like I use accessory muscles to breathe, or breathe from my diaphragm and not my chest, extreme fatigue and lethargy and slight fever, almost flu-like symptoms. I am 50 and have never had even one of these symptoms before. I am a dance fitness instructor, get lots of cardio. I do have heart disease in my family. No diabetes in the family. I only take Lipitor 20 and amlodipine 5 daily.

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.

Based upon your symptoms there are some possibilities which are
-Anemia is one of the most common cause. It is associated with easy fatiguability, lethargy and shortness of bearth which you are having right now.
- Urinary tract infection is the second one in which you will have increased urgency and frequency of urine. Which causes fever and by fever you can have all those symptoms.
-Last but not the least is cardiac cause you need to ruleout that as you are having a positive family history.
