Hello
I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
Heat intolerance and
excessive sweating can be symptoms of hyperthyroidisms. For this reason,if you were my patient i will ask to repeat the thyroid function tests(
TSH, freeT3 and freeT4) in another lab.
If the test result will be ok even the second time ,than it is necessary to consider the other causes that can cause excessive sweating.
If heavy sweating has no underlying medical cause, it's called
primary hyperhidrosis. This type occurs when the nerves responsible for triggering your sweat glands become overactive and call for more perspiration even when it's not needed. Primary hyperhidrosis may be at least partially hereditary.
If the sweating can be attributed to an underlying medical condition, it's called
secondary hyperhidrosis.
Health conditions that may cause excessive sweating include:
-Hyperthyroidism
-Diabetes
-Endocarditis
-
Fever of undetermined cause
-Generalized
anxiety disorder
-Heat exhaustion
-Hyperhidrosis
-Medication side effects, such as some beta blockers and antidepressants
-Menopause
-Obesity
-Stress
So,my advice is to consult your doctor because excessive sweating has a complicated differential diagnosis and it is necessary to do some tests to find the cause of your problem.Only in this way you can have the right treatement.
Hope my information is helpful for you.
Anyway if you have other doubts, feel free to ask.I will be happy to help.
