What Causes Night Sweats And Lack Of Libido While On Venlafaxine?
I have been on venlafaxine er 150 almost 4 months and last month dr increased it from 1 x to 2 daily Since March I have gained 15 pounds I m hot / sweaty during the day - major night sweats no sex drive and not feeling happy. **** which is unlike me**

Many of the symptoms you report are known side effects of this medication, including feeling sweaty and especially low sex drive. Weight gain is not as common, but can occur as well. I would agree that these are very likely due to the increased dose of Venlafaxine. I would recommend telling your doctor and hopefully can decrease the dose or switch to another medication.
