What Causes Night Sweats In Case Of Training At Gym?

I'm 24 years old. I joined my local gym 10 months ago, I weighed 211 lbs (at a height of 5"10) and have recently weighed myself at 169 lbs. My BMI has shifted from overweight to normal. I run four times a week (for a minimum of 20 mins) with weight training. Over the last few weeks I have been waking up at night in pools of sweat almost every other day. I've also noticed my strength drop and can no longer push as much (weight) as I could four months ago. Is this normal? Should I cut down on the gym? or even see a doctor?

Hi welcome to HCm
Though your night sweats is a matter of concern but not a cause to worry .
Thats good you have attained your target of obessity to normal .

But dear , over enthusism can spoil the broth . Your night sweats are sign of drop in your body strength .
When you exercise at a higher intensity than usual, your thyroid releases more hormones to help fuel the increased activity and raises your body temperature, which can trigger a bout of night sweats -- especially if you don't allow enough time to cool down afterward.

Good news is that night sweats are very rarely serious

You must now cut down on gym and come back to normal regime of workouts - walk , exercise ,Yoga , deep breathing - Inhale - Hold - Exhale - Hold - and meditation
and balanced diet including essential nutrients -fibers ,vitamins ,minerals green veges , fruit ,cheese ,milk , butter milk etc for better health and maintain your weight and required strength .

If problem persists or worsen ,rush to your Doctor ASAP

Hope this helps solves your query .Take care , All the best .
Don't hesitate to get back if have any further query

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, first thing you need to do is get done the routine blood test and main concern would be hemoglobin and eosinophil count, second such perspiration during sleep could be due to increase the metabolic rate but this is nothing to worry, take care for hydration, you can skip the gym for some time till you reach the proper cause of your symptom of perspiration, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
