Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
at times my toddler can have night terrors several times a week, but nothing has changed. naps are the same, bedtime the same etc. would a radiologist find an answer? he has suffered from them since before he was one years old. he was a colic baby and he had a febrel seizure one year ago. he just turned two
these are very disturbing. I know as my oldest son also suffered from them. they are however harmless and do improve as children get older.
you need to be supportive and try to get your child back to bed when he is having the night terror. in my experience there is little point in trying to wake your child or reason with them during he night terror. they will be completely unaware the following day.
