What Causes Non-healing White Spots In Throat Despite Taking Medications?

Um I don t useally do this but it really concerns me. I felt deathly sick 4 weeks ago with a horrible headache, having hard time sleeping muscle ache and trouble breathing.. Then I woke up one after a week of feeling like crap. And my throat felt sore and my right tonsil was inflamed and had white spots on it! I went to a walk in clinic and they said it was streap throat and I took an antibiotic day and night for 2 weeks. And afterwards I felt a much better! But after 2 weeks the white spots never went away and it worries me.. Can you help?

I really appreciate your concern, in absence of infection antibiotic may not work and it would be useless to give it second the symptoms may not be due to any disease but this could be nonspecific, just wait for few days and everything would be fine try to low down the stress, ( You have not mentioned your age and gender else something more specific could have been thought) hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
