What Causes Non Palpable Masses In Breast?

I have two non palpable masses in my breast. One of them showed up on mammogram and ultrasound and has been biopsied. The second showed up in the mammogram done after the biopsy but not in the original two mammograms or the ultrasound. I am awaiting results of the biopsy and am scheduled for a diagnostic MRI in five days, which will be after I get the biopsy results. If both masses are malignant, is lumpectomy still an option? Is there any benign condition two areas in one breast could be? What would be the course of treatment? I am seventy years old and a nervous wreck right now.Thank you for any light you can shed.
