What Causes Nose Bleeding?

Nosebleed at night for 6 days in a row . I m just setting watching TV ,and it just starts and last about 5 minutes always the left nostril, I do take a 5mg blood pressure pill every morning . I checkmy blood pressure after it stops and its 127 /90 any idea what causes it
