General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
The lining of your nose contains many tiny blood vessels that lie close to the surface and are easily damaged.
-The 2 most common causes of nose bleeding are dry air and nose pricking.
-Other causes may include:Nasal/sinus infections, allergy/irritation, anticoagulant/aspirin use, nasal septum deviation, nasal tumors, nose trauma...
You may help stop bleeding by nasal compression for long.If no success, you will need to see the Doctor for an adrenaline nasal packing, vitamin k administration and an antifibrinolytic like exacyl.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
