Since your age is bit on higher side a detailed evaluation to be done to find out the cause of nose bleed. I suggest you to consult an ENT specialist and get the following things done:- (1)- Check your blood pressure. Undetected hypertension is the most common cause of nasal bleed especially in elderly. (2)- A detailed examination of your nose is needed to rule out condition like minor trauma or polyp inside the nose,which could be a probable cause for this bleed. (3)- A coagulation profile is needed to rule out bleeding disorders. (4)- If you are on antiplatelet drugs like aspirin,it could be a reason for your nasal bleed. You don t need to worry regarding this as it can be managed effectively with proper treatment. There is no need to come to your country. You can get evaluated from abroad,If they advise for any procedures like surgery, do it from your home country . if you develop the bleed again, pinch your tip of nose tightly.
