What Causes Nose Bleeding?

I experience occasional nosebleeds - usually when I blow my nose first thing in the morning. I blow my nose gently, so it isn t a matter of blowing too hard. It doesn t keep bleeding but, rather, it just shows up in the tissue. Occasionally I will also occasionally find blood in my flem when I cough it up. I have experienced both of these off and on most of my life but more frequently in the past year. My blood pressure is slighty high (136/85). I am not taking any medications (but do take a baby aspirin with my vitamins every morning). I exercise regularly, and my weight has not changed in more than 50 years (175 lbs at 5 8 ). Any suggestions?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Usually, this is caused by high blood pressure due to broken capillaries in the nose. You should check and regulate your Blood Pressure to see if there will be an improvement.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
