Over the past few days I ve been getting unexpected nose bleeds, along with a bit of double vision, before I focus my eyes again. I often think nothing much of it but it seems to be happening more often. I had my eyes tested at specsavers to word the end of last month. I ve been told my vision is fine. Any advice on my spontaneous nosebleeds and the odd double vission?
Hi, Welcome to healthcare magic. I had gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
This could be due to hypertension. That is increased blood pressure. Which could cause both double vision and nose bleeds.
I recommend the following. 1) Consult your doctor and check your blood pressure and treatment for the same. 2) Pinch your nose and open your mouth during bleeding. 3) Relax and don't get panic. 4) Hemocoagulase nose drops for stopping nose bleeds.
You will be fine. Hope I have answered your question. If you have any questions, I am happy to help. Wish you a good health and speedy recovery. Regards, Dr Paparaja S MBBS MS Consultant ENT Surgeon
