What Causes Nose Bleeds Along With Chest Pain And Migraines?

Hello, my boyfriend experiences reoccurring nose bleeds, intense chest pains, black out migraines, and even had instanances where he threw up blood. He s 16 and told me that none of this happened until he did meth, though he only did it a couple times. Growing up from about 11 he was a hard core stoner, and has experimented with drugs like LSD, Roxies, Cocaine, and etc. He says he s just fucked up for good... but could you tell me what s causing it and possibly how to fix it? Doctor examination hasn t been very through and he rarely agrees to go.

Hi,

Methamphetamine may cause epistaxis and nosebleed if you inhale it. It may be due to thrombocytopenia or hypertension or nose pricking etc.

Avoid Methamphetamine, use a normal saline nasal spray, apply pressure over it and tab. Naprosyn is advisable.

If symptoms not improved please consult your ENT specialist/neuro physician, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
