What Causes Nose Bleeds, Phlegm, Polyps In Nose And Severe Snoring?
I have bronchial COPD and I have never smoked. Lately, I have had nose bleeds on top of it. I battle the mucus/phlegm buildup, polyps in nose and sinus cavity, cough which usually always brings junk up and severe snoring. The nose bleeds can be brought on by coughing or sometimes nothing at all. Any thoughts...I don't have insurance. I was denied by Kaiser.
Hi. You seem to have sinonasal polyposis / ethmoidal polyps. This condition requires evaluation by nasal endoscopy and CT - Nose & Paranasal sinuses. Medical treatment is in the form of intranasal steroid sprays and oral antiallergic drugs. Depending on the findings of the tests , medical and surgical treatment can be instituted. Thanks.
