Winter time, with low humidity in the house; approx. 25%; during the night time sleep, one of nasal cavities, particularly in the left nasal, it scabs up with thick, dry mucous. In the mourning, I get water up there and eventually blow out reasonably large scab(s) with some blood imbedded in the scab. After a good blow and wipe out, it is usually okay for the day, albeit it is sore. This happens very close to the outlet of the nose and typically this continues through the winter months, in Texas. I also, occasionally use the saline flush; up one nostril and out the other..... any thoughts? Jim
