What Causes Numb Feeling In Jaw Along With Slurred Speech Every Morning?
I noticed a week ago that when I would wake up every morning my cheeks and jaw felt weird. Like they were out of p lace and I would have to move my cheeks and jaw around just to make it feel back into place. Also, sometimes I could feel my tongue moving side to side which would make my speech slurred. I have no other symptoms.
Understanding your concern. As per your query numb feeling in jaw along with slurred speech every morning could be because of number of medical conditions such as Temporomandibular joint dislocation which is mainly because of bruxism and stress, heart condition such as stroke or a neurologic condition such as Bell's Palsy. Need not to panic about anything. Visit oral and maxillofacial surgeon and get it examined. If it is due to dental related cause go for muscle relaxant and mouth stretching exercises. If not due to dental related cause, Visit neurologist once and go for complete review of her medical history and blood panel tests to find out exact etiology and start treatment as per that.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
