What Causes Numb Tongue Followed By Numbness In Left Side Of Face?

My tongue started to feel numb last Monday. It is still numb and my taste butts are way off. Today my left side of face feels numb. I noticed spit was coming out from my left side of mouth. It feels like when finishing seeing a dentist. The freezing they inject. I m 41 old male.

You are developing the signs & symptoms of facial nerve paralysis. It may be due to compression of nerve or infection like herpes. It is not advisable to ignore this as it can lead to permanent damage & disability.
