Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My daughter is feeling numbness along the outside of her right foot. This numbness has been occurring for about 2 weeks. It started with a tingling sensation, but is now just numb. I see that the Sural Nerve and the Lateral Planter Nerve may serve these areas, but I am not sure. Is there other at home testing that we can conduct to help to isolate the possible issue?

There is no home testing for these lesions. You need to consult an orthopedic surgeon. Electromyographynerve conduction study can confirm the neurological involvement.
