What Causes Numbness Along With Burning Sensation In The Knee Post Knee Sprain?

I twisted my knee about 6 weeks ago, just standing in the bathroom and simply turning direction, so no trauma occurred. Now The outside of my knee is numb to touch, but has a burning sensation and is a little swollen. Is this anything I should see a Dr about?

Good day and thank you for posting this question. In the course of twisting you might have damaged a ligament or a tendon and could result in swelling. I will suggest you use Acetaminophen for the pain and observe for 3 days, and you also need to rest your leg. If pain still persists and the numbness, kindly see your doctor.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.
