Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

The possibilities are:
1. Cardiac problem - you need to get checked by cardiologist by doing ECG, treadmill test etc.
2. Gastroesophageal reflux disease - which can be treated with medications, dietary changes
3. Cervical vertebra related issues- for which X-ray of neck can be done - again treated by medication, exercises
4. Lung diseases - chest X-ray can be done for this
I would suggest you to consult internal medicine (or general medicine, not GP), who can diagnose or if required refer you to concerned speciality.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Manuel C. See IV, Urologist
