What Causes Numbness And Tingling In Fingers Along With Back Pain?
I am 58 years old, have been hurting in my arms for weeks and getting weaker. I have been going weekly to the chiropractor for numbness and tingling in my fingers along with having a crick in my back . That is somewhat better but I feel as though my bones are bruised and I hurt all the time now. It actually hurts to lift a water pitcher or fold a towel. I take Lasix 20 mg but also take potassium 20 mEq a day. Can low potassium cause overall weakness and pain? I take metoprolol 75 mg twice a day (increased 2 months ago from 50 mg twice a day) to control my heart rate. My rate is about 95 right (115 this a.m.) with a normal BP. These are the only medicine changes made in the last 2 months. Another issue is rapid weight gain. I have gained over 10 pounds in a month mostly in my abdomen. Last but not least I have acute and chronic pyelonephritis with an atrophied kidney but function was good when last checked.

What Causes Numbness And Tingling In Fingers Along With Back Pain?
Hello, It may be due to nerve compression at cervical level. For further assessment you may require MRI neck, nerve conduction studies after spine surgeon consultation. You may require tablet pregabalin and multivitamin after consultation. Continue physical therapy. In case of not getting relief you may require surgical intervention after surgeon consultation Hope I have answered your query... Let me know if I can assist you further.
