What Causes Numbness And Tingling Sensation In Feet And Bottom Of Breasts?
Hey there, I am 47 and have experienced numbness and tingling in my feet when I woke up in the morning .and it esculated to my legs and then after a few days it s up to my bottom of my breasts. I have had a Mir and nothing came up. My legs and knees get very sore throughout the day and my stomach feels like I am eight months pregnant. My vitals are normal. And they took a blood test for Lyme disease. Can you give my any input on what it could be?
Since you are getting sore knees and legs, cut on your salt intake. Avoid salty food, they cause water retention. Avoid high carbohydrate diet. Stay active, avoid sedentary lifestyle. Sedentary lifestyle, oily, spicy, junk food taken untimely trigger abdominal bloating. Take antacids and PPI's (pantoprazole-40), one SOS when needed for relieve.
Numbness and tingling is indicative of developing peripheral neuropathy. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP. Get all required Nerve Conduction, Imaging tests and nerve biopsy done. Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
