What Causes Numbness And Tingling Sensation In Fingers During Pelvic MRI?

During a pelvic m r i to day I experienced numbness in my fingers and tingling.after they took me out of machine .i had a lot of pain for about 15mins afterwards.they gave me cold/hot packs.iwould like to know what happened as I had m r i before and this did not happen.

Hello and welcome to Healthcamagic.
I dont see how could it be related to MRI procedure unless you have some metal implants in arms. Mri dont affect body in any way but if you suffer from claustrophobia or anxiety these may have triggered such sensations in finger.It should subside soon. If not,you need neurological examination.
