What Causes Numbness And Tingling Sensation In The Body?

I recently found out I have spinal stenosis at L5 with a bulging disc and a fairy large snynovial sac. I have always been extremely active so this was a big shock. I was in the hospital for 3 days and I could not bear weight due to pain 10+ recieved an epidural 2 weeks ago and going to PT but still having a lot of numbness and tingling. No follow up given . Am I being impatient or is this a CONCERN
