What Causes Numbness And Tingling Sensation In The Left Hand?

My left hand falls asleep unless kept straight down. Symptoms appear while using computer, reading, sleeping, etc. Have had x-ray on neck and back and have seen a chiropractor. While back issues have disappeared, hand continues to tingle with numbness clear to fingertips.
