General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Numbness in the body may be caused by neuropathy causes of which are numerous. The numbness on the face may be a part of your disease. If there is no weakness, or no eye problems, no facial deviation and your speech is normal then you can wait for the tests. If any of the above is there then you should urgently go to the ER.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
