What Causes Numbness And Tingling Sensation In The Thigh Area?

I was wondering if I need to consult a doctor. If what I feel is an issue. When I stand a long time my left leg acts up I have a tingling kind of numbing feeling down the outer side of my leg between the hip and knee area. Sitting relieves it but I still have a funny numb feeling in that area. Thank you

hi..thanks for posting on health clinic...if u have tingling sensation ..it's a neuropathy or disease involve nerves ..so u should took ..tab mecabolin and tab folic acid and tab gabapantin..od ..and consult neurologist ..might be require MRI to look for compression..
