What Causes Numbness Around The Temple Area?

i have a numbness around my left temple area just above my eyebrow and slightly below my left eye (for about 2 weeks). I have no discomfort or vision issues. I am asking because my sons think it may be serious. I feel fine, just asking if it may be something to check out.
