HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
Pain can originate from any structure in the area , from the skin inwards.
The
CT scan would have shown if there were any significant changes to the organs in the abdomen. Since this was normal, it would rule out any changes in these organs.
It is possible that the pain is due to neuropathy. This refers to abnormal function of the nerves, it would commonly present with the symptoms that you are describing.
Neuropathy can be due to different causes such as: (a)infection eg shingles
(b)
vitamin b12 or
folate deficiency
(c)diabetes
(d)liver or
kidney disease
(e)side effect of medication
(f)nerve conditions such as ms or stroke
(g)trauma
(h)idiopathic- cause not known
(i)exposure to toxins
(j)some
hormonal or autoimmune conditions
It is possible that it is temporary, but if this is not the case, then your doctor can screen for the conditions mentioned above.
There are medications that can be used to help with neuropathy.
I hope this helps
