General & Family Physician, Dr. Piyush K's Response
Welcome to healthcare magic. i understand your concern. As per the history of complains given by you it does seems to be that the numbenss and tingling is related to some nerve related pathology and for that the test advised by your doctor is right. As different nerves supply different regions in body and any compression of nerve in between vertebrae leads to tingling and numbness. So do the MRI spine test and follow up with reports with spine specialist doctor. No need to worry as exercises and medications given in early stages can relieve this condition. Thanks and regards.
