Numbness in the arm with a pain in the chest (left chest?) could be a sign of a "pinched" nerve in your neck.

Maybe while flying you slept with your neck a bit funny, which may have irritated a nerve? Either way, if your symptoms are not improving over a few weeks, further testing can be helpful (MRI of the cervical spine).
